Advanced 10+
A small-group environment for individual growth.
The disciplines support one connected learning process. Dancers are asked to organise technique clearly, investigate space and form, communicate with confidence and make responsible artistic choices. Supporting repertoire may be used when it serves this educational goal.
Classical precision
Placement, coordination, musicality, strength and individual technical correction.
Choreographic intelligence
Timing, space, dynamics, intention and the structure behind movement.
The Forsythe perspective
Spatial awareness, movement choices and choreographic tools inspired by William Forsythe’s approach to movement and composition.
Professional perspective
Direct contact with the professional dance world through experienced artists, choreographers and ballet directors, with individual feedback on artistic development and future direction.
Voice & Speech
Breath, rhythm, articulation and spoken presence support confidence, expressivity and communication.
Individual development
Focused coaching helps each dancer recognise individual strengths, understand current priorities and define the next steps in their artistic and professional development.
Practical tools for exploring, deciding and communicating through movement.
His Improvisation Technologies offer practical tools for exploring space, geometry, coordination, articulation and compositional choice.
In Zurich, this work forms a central part of the programme, connecting classical foundations, creative exploration and Voice & Speech. It encourages dancers to develop greater awareness, make independent artistic choices and communicate more clearly through movement.
PROFESSIONAL CONTINUITY
Development does not stop with a contract.
Professional dancers can use ART of - Ballet Summer Intensive Zurich to revisit technical organisation, expand creative resources through Improvisation Technologies, strengthen communication through Voice & Speech and receive focused individual feedback. Participation length is selected independently from professional status.
